This page is an archive of correspondences exchanged from roughly 2020 to 2024 between artists who actively practice thinking together. THese works largely influenced the writing of the text Art, Address, & Correspondence: Variations on Pedagogical Presence, written and published as a doctoral thesis in the spring of 2024. While that publication is technically single-authored, the fact the work exists in such a form is rather awkward. the relational aspect of correspondence is important to the central question of the thesis: What in art & Correspondence enables pedagogical presence? Perhaps the length of the Academic text enables different descriptions to do more than what a webpage can, but nonetheless, this webpage Tries to show you some of what happened when these objects were made.

This collection is a co-created, choral, reverberating exchange. It is a bunch of envelopes and stuff. It is a thank you. It is a memory of a moment. It is an archive. It is a representation. it is a river. it is a gift. it is a lost letter. it is a love letter. it is a question. it is a claim. it is permission to not know, permission to use, respond & change, permission to celebrate a slide of hand, permission to celebrate. It is tears and tears and creases. It is postmarked. it is on strike. it is a hope for institutions that affirm life. it is some things I made with friends.
