Tim repeatedly reminded me that this is work about, in, and with progress. the cone collection is a mass of cones documented by tim and his friends. it is not his or theirs but ours since the cones are quotidian, they are all around us, all the time, whether we choose to interact, play, obey, or ignore them. They are always there with and without us. Perhaps more with us than not. We can find them funny and frustrating. We can see them as procedural and stagnant signs or we can think of them as philosophical objects beckoning us towards a more philosophical orientation to the world. Tim’s collection, caring description of how it has come to be, and thoughtful suspension of where it is heading is shared with us deskhibition visitors above. Further above that, on this page, is a simple image of one way the cone collection has been arranged in the desk drawer. give both a bit of your time, your thought, and your consideration. this is a cone collection. this is Tim’s cone collection. Contribute to the collection by directly sending tim a cone at this.is.a.cone.to.share@gmail.com. thank you for visiting!
