I have been living and working in the United States and Canada. I am privileged to work on Turtle Island, where I was born and where my ancestors settled. I strive to pay attention to and take action towards livable futures for all beings acknowledging my part, and learning to reflect and revise along the way.

I am a creative. I do many things and work across many different media. I am a formally trained artist with a degree in painting. I also hold a doctorate degree from the University of British Columbia in Curriculum Studies. The research I completed is both an inquiry into pedagogy and an artwork. I have experience designing, building, and creating with different media, different people, and in different places. Through my life and schooling, I have had the opportunities to take on the role of teacher, writer, researcher, collaborator, presenter, leader, curriculum developer, reviewer, illustrator, designer, curator, grant writer, editor, copy-editor, web designer, and more.
